The gold standard for replacing missing teeth — permanent, natural-looking, and designed to last a lifetime. Placed and restored by Dr. Deepak Shetty, D.D.S., Master's in Prosthodontics.
A dental implant is a small titanium post surgically placed into your jawbone to serve as an artificial tooth root. Once it fuses with the bone (a process called osseointegration), a custom-made crown is attached on top — creating a replacement tooth that looks, feels, and functions exactly like a natural one.
Unlike dentures or bridges, dental implants don't rely on neighboring teeth for support, don't slip or click, and help preserve the jawbone that would otherwise deteriorate after tooth loss.
With proper care, implants can last decades — even a lifetime.
Custom crowns matched to your existing teeth color and shape.
Stimulates the bone just like a natural root — preventing deterioration.
No dietary restrictions — bite into anything with full confidence.
No grinding down neighboring teeth as required for a bridge.
Speak, smile, and laugh without worrying about your teeth.
Dr. Shetty reviews your bone density, anatomy, and overall health using digital X-rays and 3D cone beam imaging to create a precise implant plan.
The titanium post is placed into the jawbone under local anesthesia. Sedation is available for anxious patients. Most patients are surprised by how comfortable the procedure is.
Over 3–6 months, the implant fuses with your jawbone. A temporary restoration may be worn during this period.
Once healing is complete, a custom-crafted porcelain or zirconia crown is attached — completing your new tooth.
